Merchistonian Meet-ups

It was lovely to hear from Ian Dun (63-68) who recently met up with Chris Goodman (90-93) in Brazil:

"There are not many Merchistonians in Brazil but I met up with Chris at Starbucks in Congonhas Airport in São Paulo (which is the local airport for internal flights and the famous air bridge between São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro).

It was a great two-hour meeting! Chris has recently moved his work base from Singapore to São Paulo, he has had some 10 international moves in the last 14 years! Chris was going through the normal hurdles of resettling the family and his two sons going to a new school."

We wish Chris a speedy adaptation to the Brazilian life! Are there any more Merchistonians in Brazil? If so, Ian would love to hear from you!

Merchistonian Cricket Rep

Do you have fond memories of playing Cricket at School? Would you like to get more involved with the Club?

We are looking for someone to become the new Cricket Secretary. What does this involve? Our sports secretaries organise an annual match v School, write a short report and take photographs for the annual Merchistonian Club Magazine, publish their contact details so that any interested Merchistonian can get in touch and generally encourage Merchistonians to continue to be involved with sport after School.

Thanks to Alistair Evans (90-97) for all that you have done for the Club whilst you have been Cricket Secretary.
